We are looking forward to the new year here at My Modern Wedding Invitations.  I have been working hard on designing some invitations for our readers to buy and have been working on setting up a shopping cart and business name for us. We should have new invitations ready to sell within January. All of the invitations will have a pocketfold option. We will have some very nice pocketfolds to choose from. They are made of a petallic paper from the stardream line. We will also offer envelopes that match them as well as a line of white and cream envelopes. When buying with the pocketfold option, each of the invitations will have belly bands and a circular medallion with a monogram printed on them for closing. We will also have the option of buying the invitations without the pocketfolds so that they can be more affordable for those with a smaller budget in mind. The design of the invitations is exclusive to My Modern Wedding Invitations and will not be sold by other online distributors. I have personally created all of the designs and feel that they are all very special. I am really excited about getting started and hope that you all like the invitations as much as I do.

They are also great because you don’t have to wait for a company to do the printing for you. Even if you decide to buy a wedding invitation kit online, it is likely that they would be sent quickly instead of having to wait and have the printer to the printing.

The biggest disadvantage of wedding invite kits is that there does not tend to be very many that are creatively done, most likely because having a variety will limit the amount of sales made and will increase the amount of inventory needed to make them cost effective. Wedding invitation kits can still be a good solution to the do it yourselfer who has patience.

Damask wedding invitations can be very elegant and beautiful wedding invitations. If you don’t know what damask is, it is a two color pattern that is somewhat floral but more focused on the leaves. Many people like black and white damask wedding invitations because the shapes of the damask can lend a softer feel to the black and white contrast while still providing the punch that the combination of black and white has. If you plan on creating do it yourself picture wedding invitations, then there are a few things that you will want to keep in mind. The first being that whatever image you use need to be of high quality. For printing purposes, you will want to make sure that you image is at least 300 dpi. You can check this information by right clicking on the image and looking at the information, or editing the image in a photo editor like
Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 -. You will also want to make sure not to enlarge you image. If you do this, this will result in lowering the quality of your picture. There is only so much information in a photograph. When you try to enlarge it, you are only really stretching it, like a rubber band, it only becomes thinner. This is why you want to start with a large 300 dpi image. The lowest quality you want to use is 150 dpi. You should also keep this in mind if you plan on cropping your image. If you make sure to get an original image this should help a lot.

You could decide to add hand created element and photographic elements and integrate them together. This can add a very different style to your picture wedding invite. You could even effect the image so that it is all one color, or you could change the threshold setting to make it all black and white and more solid. You may have a more vector, hard edged item blend in with a photograph. A beautiful watercolor sky could blend in with the sky of your picture and give you wedding invitation an added artistic feel. What makes a wedding invitation contemporary by definition? Stylistically what one would be looking for when trying to buy contemporary wedding invitations are strong lines and bright colors. Circles and squares are popular and stripes also lend themselves to a modern feel. When looking for fonts to go with these types of invitations, a big bold sans serif, or font that has straight lines instead of feet, will also add to the feel of a modern wedding invitation.

I would suggest trying to find something different that represents you and your spouse to be without being to cliché. You could have a special heart monogram designed just for you. This is definitely a good direction to go because you will know that it is unique and that most people will not have it.

It would be very easy to get carried away with the heart theme, because there are many different heart wedding items available to buy. What is important when developing a theme is creating a style. I would be good to ask oneself whether the item that is being added is helping create the style of detract from the style. There are many different types of hearts, and just because the item is a heart does not mean that is belongs in your wedding theme. Being specific about what you want and the mood that you want to create will make the job of creating an environment that reflects your desires easier.

There are many ways that a heart wedding invitation motif can be created. You could have something very elegant and simple created, or a pair of hearts that have embellishments on them that could be very ornate. You may decide that you really like the idea of candy and you may go with a candy valentine heart theme. The color palette should also be considered. Whenever you are picking out the color palette for you wedding a black and white wedding can be a very dramatic and striking statement. Some people may decide to add an accent color to give the theme a bit of a pop. What better color than pink to soften the strong color theme?

Pink and black wedding invitations are a great way to show the unity of a man and a woman. The black represents the strong masculine personality of a man while the pink can show the soft, sweet personality of a woman. Pink and black look good together. Of course you will need to decide what shade of pink you will pick for your color palette.
