Silver Wedding Invitations

If you are having a wedding with silver as part of your color scheme then you may be looking for some silver wedding invitations. There are many stock options available out there but if you actually want to have them custom made then there are a few things you may need to consider. There are a few ways to make wedding invitations silver. You could have the invitations foil stamped but this can require special dies to be made and can be costly. You can have the invitations created with metallic ink. This is probably a more economical solution because even digital printers can print with specific inks called pantone colors. This is a great way to go it you also want to have the type match the silver, or just the names because having it all silver may be a little overwhelming.

If you want silver in your invitations but cannot afford to have metallic ink used to print the invitations then perhaps you should consider using some silver paper. There is plenty of great paper out there that is even just slightly shiny if you want something that is not too over the top but still has a nice quality to it. There is also plenty of nice silver paper. You will need to test this type of paper with your printer if you plan on using it, especially if it is an inkjet, because sometimes specialty paper like this can have problems when being printed on. You will need to use a dark color to print onto it, like black, because your printer relies on the paper for any light colors.

Silver is a great color to use because it will lend a special touch to your invitations. Another great thing about it is that it goes well with white. It would probably be best to not have all of the silver be too reflective, but to also use a more matte silver to tone things down a bit and add a bit of interest.

A silver wedding invitation would make a great color scheme for a winter wedding. The color could represent the color of the snow, or the twinkle of the season or even silver bells without being too much like christmas. The bells could also represent church bells so that would be a nice cross over for the two events. Silver is also nice because it keeps the color palette neutral and it also adds a bit of pizzaz at the same time. If any rhinestones were desired then they would go also fit in with silver.

Silver wedding invitations can be a beautiful thing that can definitely be pulled off for wedding invitations.

I like the color silver so much. And yes, I will be using a silver or metallic ink to my wedding invitations. I will get married next year and right now, we are starting to planning about it. How much would it cost me to purchase a metallic ink? I don’t have any idea but I’m planning to avail one. Thanks for all the things you’ve shared here. It made me realize once again that I made the right choice in planning to have silver wedding invitations.

The cost of the ink really depends on how you plan on printing the invitations. If you look for a local digital printing company you should be able to ask for a Pantone Spot color. If you were thinking about having your invitations printed in 4 color anyways, sometimes the Pantone color can even be cheaper. It all depends on the printing company.

I prefer the silver wedding invitations. They look better and more professional. The other ones sometimes can look amateur like they just printed them on any regular printer with colored ink. The silver ones have this nice glow and tend to have detailed designs. Plus the silver shines so it looks more beautiful and artistic.
